Spreading hope and joy to our brothers and sisters
in Mecosta County since 1979

God’s Helping Hands of Mecosta County provides Emergency Food assistance to residents of Mecosta County and surrounding communities where children in the home are registered with the Chippewa Hills School District.

When life’s twists and turns affect your finances, when you’re stretching your budget as far as you can and the ends just won’t meet, remember that you’re not alone and help is available.

At God’s Helping Hands of Mecosta County, we understand that anything from job loss to medical emergencies to rising prices – especially for those on fixed incomes – can impact your ability to afford groceries. No matter the circumstances, if you or someone you know is struggling to keep enough food in the house and a resident of Mecosta County, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

Simply come in and see us at 8760 50th Avenue, Remus on Tuesdays or Fridays between 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. One of our welcoming, caring registration volunteers can quickly get you signed up so you can begin receiving food right away. During that process they can also determine if you would benefit from any of our other programs and services and may be able to point you to other community resources for things we cannot provide.

God’s Helping Hands of Mecosta County is a place where you are welcome, you are our brother or sister, you belong.
